Terms & conditions

These terms apply whenever you use this website or buy from VegExpress (“we”, “us”). By placing an order you agree to them. Please also read our privacy policy.

Orders

• You can order through the website (Abuja addresses) or on WhatsApp. You must be 18 or over to place an order.
• Your order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed when we confirm it by email, SMS or WhatsApp.
• All products are subject to availability. If an item is unavailable we will offer a substitute or refund that item.
• We may decline or cancel an order — for example where there is a pricing error, a delivery address we cannot serve, or suspected fraud — and will refund anything you have paid.

Prices and payment

• Prices are in Nigerian naira (₦) and include applicable taxes. Delivery fees are shown at checkout before you pay.
• Online payments by card, bank transfer or USSD are processed securely by Paystack. Pay on delivery is available within Abuja.
• Prices can change, but never for an order we have already confirmed.
• Discount codes have their own conditions, cannot be exchanged for cash and, unless stated, cannot be combined.

Delivery

• We deliver across our Abuja zones, Monday to Saturday. Orders confirmed before 12 noon are normally delivered the same day; all others the next delivery day. Delivery is free on orders over ₦50,000.
• Delivery times are estimates. Traffic, weather and events outside our control can cause delays, and we will keep you informed.
• Someone must be available to receive the order. If a delivery fails because nobody is available or the address is wrong, a redelivery fee may apply.
• Outside Abuja, delivery is arranged individually on WhatsApp and the cost and timing are agreed before payment.

Storage and use

Our products are perishable. Put frozen items in the freezer immediately, keep juices and smoothies refrigerated, and follow the storage and use-by guidance on each pack. Do not refreeze products that have thawed. Ingredients are listed on every product page and pack — please check them if you have an allergy or intolerance.

Problems, returns and refunds

• Because our products are perishable food, we cannot accept returns simply because you have changed your mind after delivery.
• If anything arrives damaged, thawed, incorrect or missing, tell us within 24 hours of delivery — ideally with a photo — on WhatsApp or at hello@vegexpress.ng. We will replace the item or refund it, whichever you prefer.
• You can cancel free of charge any time before your order is dispatched.
• Refunds are made to the original payment method, usually within 7 working days depending on your bank.

Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Act 2018.

Business customers

Wholesale, food service, corporate and white-label supply is governed by the quotation or supply agreement we issue to you. Where that agreement differs from these terms, the agreement applies.

Using this website

• Keep your account details secure and tell us if you suspect unauthorised use.
• Do not misuse the site — for example by attempting to disrupt it, access it unlawfully or scrape it at scale.
• The content, recipes, designs, logos and the VegExpress name belong to us or our licensors. You are welcome to share recipes for personal, non-commercial use with credit.
• Recipes and articles are general information, not medical or dietary advice.

Our liability

We are responsible for loss you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care. We are not responsible for losses caused by events outside our reasonable control, for business losses on consumer orders, or for products that were not stored or used as directed. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. We will always try to resolve a complaint with you directly first; failing that, disputes are subject to the courts of the Federal Capital Territory.
